    Process Engineer (m/f/d) - Plasma Etching

    Would you like to take up the challenge of working in an innovative, goal-oriented environment of an internationally operating company? If so, our company is the right address!

    As a member of our engineering team, you are responsible for the optimization of our high-tech tools as well as our processes in the field of plasma etching.
    You work in close cooperation with our customers in the semiconductor industry and support them in the production of high quality, competitive microprocessor, logic and memory products.

    Your responsibilities include:

    • Technical monitoring and controlling of plasma etch processes and tools.
    • Operational support in problem solving in close cooperation with other engineering departments.
    • Systematical analyses and optimization of established etch processes for continuous defect reduction and yield enhancement.
    • Development of established etch processes according to the requirements of the partners and customers of the AMTC.
    • Interacting closely with the local service team and technology experts from tool vendors.

    Your profile:

    • As a successful candidate you have a university degree in physics, chemistry, microelectronics, material science or equivalent and possess a broad professional knowledge.
    • Applicable experience in plasma etching is advantageous.
    • You are experienced in implementing technological projects and like to develop and implement new ideas.
    • You possess a good knowledge in statistical process analysis and control.
    • Experience in programming (e.g. Java, R, Python) is advantageous.
    • You possess good communication skills in German and English and demonstrate a high affinity for working in international teams.

    Your responsibilities include:

    Your field of activity as a Purchasing Analyst covers the entire purchasing process for production tools, materials and services:

    • You will prepare contracts and conduct contract negotiations, including order processing. You will get technical input from the specialist department.
    • You will evaluate your suppliers annually together with the specialist departments. This also includes driving forward the continuous development of suppliers.
    • You will maintain relationships with our key suppliers based on a collaborative and trusting cooperation.
    • You will screen and analyze markets, offers and potential new suppliers (internationally, our focus is on the USA and Japan).
