A surveillance audit was carried out by our external certification company Lloyds Register at the end of 2021. The audit scope included the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard, the 14001:2015 environmental management standard and the ISO 50001:2018 energy management standard. Due to the Corona restrictions at the time of the audit, only the lead auditor worked on site and was supervised by a few members of the quality and ESH department. Another auditor and our colleagues participated in the audit online.
As it was a monitoring audit, only certain processes were audited. The focus was on the mask production procedures and their upstream and downstream processes. Another focus was the implementation of the new ISO 50001:2018 energy management standard. For this, the auditor checked the implementation of the new requirements and was thus able to confirm the conversion.
Furthermore, this time a tour of the facility systems was possible on site in a very small group. There, the auditor confirmed that we comply with all the necessary requirements, e.g. in the chemistry cabinet. All together we mastered this unusual situation and were able to conclude this surveillance audit with a positive result.
