The staff and management of the AMTC Mask Technology Centre donated € 2,000 for Ukraine Aid. AMTC Managing Director Thomas Schmidt handed over the symbolic cheque to Caritas Director Matthias Mitzscherlich on 4 July.
"For the 20th anniversary of the company, we organised a raffle," reports Thomas Schmidt. "The good cause of the donation was the reason for the great engagement of our employees."
For Caritas, the donation means further support in helping refugees from Ukraine. "Currently, we register a declining number of refugees arriving from the Ukraine," says Caritas director Matthias Mitzscherlich. "But the refugees who are already here and the ones that will still come to Germany need urgent support." The help ranges from furnishing flats to necessary administrative processes, which also mean financial burdens for the people. "I thank the staff of the ATMC very much for their commitment to the refugees from Ukraine.
