History
Embedded in Silicon Saxony, AMTC has been producing at the Dresden site for 20 years. The following are the historical milestones of this period.

| January 2008 | Change in corporate structure, share transfer from Infineon Technologies AG to Qimonda AG |
| 2009 | Exclusion of Qimonda AG from the partnership, AMD and Toppan Photomasks, Inc. remain shareholders |
| April 2012 | - transfer of AMD's shares to GLOBALFOUNDRIES - Partial transfer of production from Toppan Germany to AMTC - Founding purpose: Development & production of optical photomasks |
